How To Remotely Access Another Computer From Your Computer

Computer is a way of computing large amount of task in fraction of second with high accuracy. It is widely using by top and all industry to make their work faster and smarter. But there is a question that always asked by students and some professionals and the question is, I want to access my home PC from my laptop and for professional, They want to access their office PC from home to work but HOW??????. See working from is now a day providing by company to an employee to work Remotely from any location through VPN. Remote is a general using word meaning to handle an electronic device from  different place with some sort of equipment. For example we can take Television. Television is an electronic device that we are operating by a small keypad device called as Remote. The same scenario we are taking here, I have a computer system and  i want to use that computer system from my laptop. Is it possible, if yes then how otherwise why not ?

Remote Desktop Conection

Remote Accessing of a computer system is possible through other computing Device like Laptop, Mobile Phone with some sort of application. But wait, here we are not going to deal about any Software or Application. Here we are going to deal about a default system application that is coming by default by windows operating system. No need to download, No need to installation, we will directly configure that service for use yeahhhh!!!!!!

Windows operating system is providing a service called RDC abbreviate Remote Desktop Connection. This Connection uses a very known protocol RDP abbreviate Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP), is a proprietary protocol developed by Microsoft, which provides a user with a graphical interface to connect to another computer over a network connection. The user employs RDP client software for this purpose, while the other computer must run RDP server software.

• Step1. Go to search and type RDP
• Step2. open Remote Desktop Connection Tool.
• Step3. Type the computer name which you want to take on Remote.

           Note: Make sure you have typed correct name or else you will not get password prompt.

Step4. Type the correct Password or Remote Machine.

Step5. Accept the certificate and take your PC on Remote.

Troubleshoot

In case if you are unable to access Remote PC from your laptop or Computer don't be panic. Follow the given steps to troubleshoot the issue.

• Step1. Go to Control Panel\System and Security\System
• Step2. Open Remote Settings from Side pane.
• Step3. Check Allow Remote Connections to this computer
• Step4. Allow Connections only from computers running Remote Desktop with network level Authentication.
• Step5. Apply and OK.

Note: This issues may happens because computers are securing their resources from accessing unwanted users. By default this option was disabled on all Microsoft machine.
